Welcome

A collaborative platform, not merely a transfer of knowledge

It is our distinct honour and privilege to welcome all attendees, faculty and guests to the 2nd Babylon Third Space Endoscopy Symposium. Held on 20–21 November 2026 in the historic city of Babylon, Iraq, this symposium brings together scientific and clinical excellence to explore the pioneering field of third space gastrointestinal endoscopy.

By connecting experts and breaking down traditional academic boundaries, we can share the insights needed to elevate patient care and push the limits of modern endoscopy.

The programme features live demonstrations, workshops and scientific presentations focused on advanced techniques such as POEM and ESD — taught by faculty who perform them, in front of an audience that can question every decision as it is made.

To our faculty, valued sponsors and delegates: thank you for joining us in Babylon as we continue a legacy of innovation and help shape the future of medicine.

  • Clinical correlation: how HRM findings guide treatment decisions.
  • Case-based discussions on challenging HRM.

2

Basic techniques of third space endoscopic therapy
